Hey! I’m Herbie

I am an entrepreneur, coach, and public speaker motivated to help you learn about internet marketing.

What’s this about?

I’m here to show you how you can become an Internet Marketer and achieve your desired results. I’ll do so by writing posts that explore a range of relevant subjects. In addition, from time to time, I will review (and even recommend) books, courses, and software that could help you achieve your goals as quickly as possible.

Much of what I write will likely be original though there’s so much information on the internet. If you’re not used to studying, having so much information at your fingertips can be overwhelming.

Think about it.

Haven’t you found that when you’re trying to research anything on the internet, there’s a tendency to go down one rabbit hole after another? This tendency is particularly true when studying internet marketing. So many business opportunities are competing for our attention that choosing which is best for us is challenging, so we delay starting or give up altogether.

But hang in there.

My blog could cut down the time you need to spend researching because, in a sense, I’ll have done much of the research for you.

Why me?

Because you can be confident that I will thoroughly research complicated subjects and communicate what I have learned, my academic journey means that I am open to criticism and willing to see other people’s viewpoints.

Let me briefly tell you how that came about.

I grew up on a remote island, and, like most of my generation, I left school and started work when I was just 15 years old without any recognized educational qualifications.

Despite this, I entered a theological college in London, England, during my early twenties. And there, I learned and excelled at public speaking and teaching, skills that have served me well over the years.

Then later in life, I went on to gain a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in psychology and business strategy.

Life-long Learning

I used to laugh at my wife because she was constantly studying, but then the same thing happened to me. So it was that with my first degree under my belt, I followed it straightaway with an MBA and then a Master’s Degree in consulting. It took many years of ongoing study whilst holding a demanding full-time job.

My work has predominately been in leadership roles within the Church and Charity sectors in the UK. As a leader, my passion and mission have always been to encourage personal and professional development, often through direct coaching, which is why I worked for and achieved, Chartered Manager status, which is ‘the highest status that [one can achieve] in the management and leadership profession’ (UK).

Then I retired. However, I still had a hunger for learning.

After retiring, I studied subjects that I knew very little or nothing about, topics that pushed me beyond my comfort zone.

First, I became a certified coach.

Next, I turned to internet marketing, which was painful because it took me so far out of my comfort zone; it was unreal.

So on to Internet Marketing

Subsequently, I’ve spent a lot of time and money learning about Internet Marketing and have been fortunate to sit under some great teachers and mentors. Undoubtedly, much of what I’ve learned from them will show up in my content.

Learning about and doing Internet Marketing has been quite an eventful journey because there are multiple ways of doing business online. Also, marketing systems and tools are constantly changing to keep pace with technology.

Am I saying this to brag?

Not at all.

Instead, I want you to know that when I write, I do so, having researched each subject in depth.

So, what now?

My passion and mission are to use what I’ve learned (or am currently learning) to help others achieve their goals as quickly as possible.
